C++ Control Systems Engineer — Hybrid (Linux)

CERN is seeking a Software Engineer to develop, evolve, and maintain C++ software running on Linux, controlling more than 5,000 power converters across the accelerator complex.

You will design, implement, and document modern control software, migrate applications to the FGCDv2 framework, and contribute to CI/CD, code quality, and collaborative work with engineers, equipment specialists, and operations teams. Hybrid work setup, 40 hours per week, starting 01-October-2026.
