Buyer Iii (Tijuana)

Responsibilities

• Act as the frontline communication with vendors.
• Monitor supplier approval process and maintain performance records.
• Place and confirm purchase orders from ERP system (SAP).
• Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels of raw materials.
• Monitor inventory adjustments and work with accounting to resolve discrepancies in ERP.
• Review MRP daily and collaborate with scheduling to ensure materials arrive on time to meet production demand and schedule.
• Implement and follow procedures and policies from the department.
• Work with vendors to implement corporate strategic goals.
• Facilitate the timely resolution of MRB issues.
• Maintain data input of scheduling/materials flow information on MRP system (SAP).
• Participate and support Commodity Leaders when developing a new source, interviewing vendors, and addressing inadequate supply sources.
