Butcher Apprentice (Full-Time) – Manning, AB
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist butcher team in cutting and wrapping meat products
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area
- Properly handle and store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Prepare special orders as per customer’s request
- Handle customer service inquiries and provide a positive customer experience
What you Bring:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast‑paced team‑oriented environment
- Comfortable working during peak grocery deli hours (e.g., evenings, daytime, weekends, and holidays)
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience with the craft of butchery is an asset
- Most importantly, willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development
