Role Overview

Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – Payments & API Integration, based in Toronto, Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for payment systems and API-driven integrations.
• Conduct stakeholder workshops to define requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications, process flows, and system designs.
• Perform gap analysis and propose process/system improvements aligned with business objectives.
• Work on payment systems such as Real‑Time Payments, ACH, Wires, SWIFT, SEPA, ISO20022.
• Analyze end‑to‑end payment flows including clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and compliance.
• Ensure solutions comply with regulatory requirements and payment standards (e.g., PSD2, ISO formats).
