NATURE OF WORK
This is highly responsible, professional, supervisory, complex fiscal management, technical and administrative work that requires analyzing, planning, developing, coordinating, monitoring current and long range budgetary and financial activities in the Board of Education's Business Office. Work involves responsibility for the administration and coordination of the Budget process for the Board of Education. It also involves supervising the maintenance and preparation of all financial reports, records, and statements for Federal, State, and City agencies. Must provide recommendations for process improvements and implement changes. Work is performed with considerable independent professional and administrative judgement in both methods and procedures, and initiative in planning and coordinating the activities of the budget operation.
