Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the rail, mining, industrial and engineering sectors.
  • Generate qualified leads through cold calling, networking, referrals and market research.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Conduct client visits, product presentations and technical sales meetings.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals and tender submissions.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and close sales opportunities.
  • Promote the full range of Surtees Railway Supplies and Engineering products and services.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and upcoming projects to identify new opportunities.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM database.
