**Bus Mechanic – Diesel Technician**

Aerotek is hiring a Bus Mechanic / Diesel Technician to perform maintenance and repair on transit buses. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in diesel engines, electrical systems, and fleet maintenance who can work independently in a shop and outdoor environment.

**Job Description:**

+ Perform maintenance and repair on transit buses and heavy vehicles
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems, including multiplex systems
+ Complete minor engine and transmission repairs
+ Perform routine maintenance such as brake service and oil changes
+ Inspect and repair bus air conditioning (AC) systems
+ Complete body work and basic repairs on bus interiors and exteriors
+ Conduct pre- and post-repair inspections to ensure safety and quality
+ Manage multiple work orders daily and document completed work
