BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN- PLUMBER

Job Opportunity

The Kativik Regional Government (KRG) is looking for a self-motivated and dynamic individual to work in the capacity of Building Maintenance Technician‑Plumber (Permanent full-time position).

The Municipal Public Works Department (MPW) of the KRG is responsible for maintaining the organization buildings (offices, police stations, airports, employees housing units, etc.) and for providing technical assistance to the 14 Northern Villages in matters related to operation and maintenance of their recreational buildings.

Reporting to the Kuujjuaq Maintenance Coordinator of the Building Maintenance Section, the Specialized Building Technician‑Plumber performs preventive maintenance and service/repair operations on plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment and controls used for water, waste, oil and hot liquids in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
