Position Overview

IMS Inspector – Mechanical, Codes and Standards (Regular/full-time, Winnipeg, MB)

Responsibilities

• Report to the Program Manager, exercising authority to ensure compliance with the Department of Labour Act, Steam and Pressure Plants Act, Power Engineers Act, and Gas and Oil Burner Act.
• Exercise authority to ensure compliance with applicable acts, supporting codes, and standards.

Qualifications

Essential

• 3rd Class Power Engineer in Manitoba or higher, or degree in Mechanical Engineering and current registration with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba, or Mechanical Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT), or certification as ...
