About the Role

Working as part of the HR Operations team and reporting to the Director, Payroll, the Payroll Specialist will assist in processing and distributing payrolls for 1,200+ employees across North America.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently process payroll, which requires understanding, interpreting, and applying tax laws and government regulations to payroll and benefit deductions, incentive compensation, and retirement funding.
• Review payroll transactions for completeness and reasonability.
• Research and investigate payroll discrepancies.
• Prepare special payments, complex pay, and payroll deduction calculations.
• Manage and maintain timely compliance for payroll, legal, and tax reporting filings.
