Position Summary

The Regional Business Head is accountable for managing complex, critical, large professional disciplinary areas, leading and directing a team of professionals. They must have a comprehensive understanding of multiple functional areas and how they interact to achieve objectives, apply an in-depth sense of the business impact of technical contributions, and generally be accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses or geographic regions. Excellent communication skills are required to negotiate internally at a senior level, with some external communication potentially necessary. The role exercises control over resources, policy formulation, and planning, primarily affecting a sub‑function. It involves short-to-medium-term planning of actions and resources, full management responsibility for people, budget and planning, performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, and budget approval.
