Join Baffinland as a Mobile Maintenance Leader at the Mary River Mine, Nunavut. This role focuses on driving safety and efficiency in maintenance practices through strong leadership and teamwork.
Reporting to the General Manager, Operations, you’ll provide oversight for mobile equipment maintenance and lead a multi-skilled team. Your responsibility includes ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards while improving equipment uptime and reliability. Collaborating with various departments is key to achieving business objectives and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure maintenance excellence through established work standards
• Lead and mentor the maintenance team for optimal performance
• Develop and report on departmental performance metrics
• Manage operating and capital budgets for the department
• Support procurement with technical input for mobile assets
