Atlantic Region Health and Safety Advisor

Join Stantec as an Atlantic Region Health and Safety Advisor, focusing on enhancing HSSE programs and processes. This full-time position supports essential safety initiatives and incident management across multiple offices.
You will report to the HSSE Manager while providing guidance on HSE regulations applicable in the Atlantic provinces. Your expertise will help resolve HSE issues, facilitate key performance monitoring, and support ISO audit preparations. Engage with various stakeholders to foster a proactive safety culture and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead development of HSE communication strategies
• Facilitate follow-ups and support incident investigations
• Act as liaison for Workers Compensation Board cases
• Coordinate monthly HSE Coordinator meetings
• Collaborate with diverse teams for regional audits
