Assistant Vice President for Risk Management and Compliance
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the continued development and maintenance of a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management framework that identifies, assesses, and mitigates strategic, operational, financial, and reputational exposures.
- Create a culture of compliance. Serve as the central point for ensuring training and educational programs are in place for faculty and staff.
- Ensure that all necessary compliance activities have been identified and appropriately assigned, university-wide.
- Develop, implement, maintain and oversee an enterprise-wide compliance program, ensuring adherence to federal/state laws (e.g., Title IX, HIPAA, Clery Act) SUNY and internal policies.
