Assistant University Secretary (Senate)
Responsible to administer the business of Senate, prepare agenda and materials, record minutes of meetings, and maintain corporate records.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of office administration policies, procedures, and processes
- Knowledge of university secretariat and Senate policies, procedures, and processes
- Knowledge of office productivity software and databases, internet browsers and search engines, discipline‑specific software, enterprise software, and technology devices
- Knowledge of office as well as the broader university academic units, divisions, and departments
- Knowledge of academic governance procedures and practices
Education and Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred) and a minimum of four years of previous administrative experience.
