Assistant Superintendent – Ontario

Reporting to the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent will support active major heavy civil MTO projects in the Greater Toronto Area. The role involves managing day‑to‑day operations, long‑term project planning, and ensuring compliance with construction drawings and specifications.

Primary Scope of Role

• Assist the Superintendent in on‑site work management and ensure construction compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Plan and implement schedules, determining manpower levels, material quantities, and inspections.
• Maintain equipment requirements and ensure project rules, procedures, and safety requirements are followed.
• Advise the Superintendent and Project Managers of potential problems, work interferences, and schedule difficulties, and assist in resolving these issues.
