**JOB DESCRIPTION:**
The purpose of this position is to provide faculty support to meet the teaching, research, and patient care needs of the Department of Surgery, and assist in fulfilling UTMB’s threefold mission. In addition, this position will also serve as division chief.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:**
