Assistant Professor – Bioethics

The Dalla Lana School of Public Health (DLSPH) at the University of Toronto invites applications for a full‑time tenure‑stream position in Bioethics. The appointment is at the rank of Assistant Professor, with an anticipated start date of January 1 2027, and will be held in the Division of Clinical Public Health.

Purpose and Mission

The role will contribute significantly to the academic mission of the University of Toronto Joint Centre for Bioethics (JCB) and to the DLSPH Academic Plan. Candidates should bring an interdisciplinary, boundary‑spanning perspective to emerging bioethics challenges, including AI ethics, climate health ethics, and polycrisis ethics, and align their work with the strategic aims of the JCB.
