Job Purpose
- The position is responsible for ensuring the continuous availability, reliability, and optimal performance of the core transmission and microwave networks through effective operations, maintenance, and project execution. The role includes leading network deployment and expansion initiatives, managing vendor performance, maintaining comprehensive network documentation, and ensuring the timely identification and resolution of faults. The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless 24/7 network operations while maintaining compliance with defined SLAs, quality standards, and organizational objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure 24/7 availability and optimal performance of the Core Transmission Network, covering OTN, SDH, DWDM and PTN technologies.
- Proactively identify and resolve both remote and on-site network or equipment failures and degraded link performance.
