Assistant Maintenance Technician

The Assistant Maintenance Technician is a skilled maintenance person to support the Maintenance Technician with daily preventative maintenance, troubleshoot problems, and complete equipment and building repairs as required.

Schedule

This is a full-time position working on average 40 hours a week; Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm. Varying hours, weekend, on‑call, and holiday work will be required.

Position Accountabilities

• Support the Maintenance Technician to perform mechanical duties including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Assist with the diagnoses of problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments to hatchery equipment.
• Follow the preventative maintenance schedule on machines, equipment, and facilities.
