Assistant Director/Associate General Counsel

JOB SUMMARY The Legal Department provides strategic advice in an array of subject matters to ensure that the Lottery acts in accordance with applicable state and federal laws and regulations. The Associate General Counsel will assist the General Counsel in performing a variety of legal duties and providing the highest quality legal guidance. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Contribute to the smooth daily operation of the Legal Department including assisting in the supervision of its support staff. * Subject to the supervision of General Counsel and/or Deputy General Counsel, provide legal advice and services to internal stakeholders pertaining to, but not limited to, Lottery regulations, policies and procedures, game rules, trademarks, procurements, and public records as well as respond to legal inquiries from external parties, including but not limited to players, their representatives, and vendors. * Subject to the supervision of General Counsel and/or Deputy General Counsel, represent the Lott...
