Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Associate Director for Prevention and Wellness Initiatives, the Assistant Director for Prevention & Health Education is responsible for leading and managing a team of peer health educators, overseeing their training, program implementation, and overall performance while promoting healthy behaviors and wellness initiatives on campus. The areas of focus for this position are Peer Health Education, General Wellness, and Safer Sex Initiatives.

+ Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and mentor a team of Peer Health Educators.

+ Implement comprehensive training for peer educators covering topics such as prevention strategies, communication skills, group facilitation, and relevant health information.
