Advance your legal skills as an Articling Student with the AGCO in Toronto. This full-time position offers valuable experience in administrative and regulatory law.
As part of the Legal Services Division, you will work under the Legal Director, Litigation, and engage in a variety of essential tasks. Your main duties will involve conducting extensive legal research, assisting with appeals, and managing compliance files. You will also prepare contracts and maintain important legal databases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Division counsel with legal research
• Prepare documents for appeals and judicial reviews
• Manage compliance files in incidents
• Maintain and update precedent files
• Participate in special projects and committee work
Requirements:
• Membership in the Law Society of Ontario required
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Strong writing and communication capabilities
