Job Purpose
Archival Fellow for the Avery and Liberatory Literacies grant will support project leadership in arranging, describing, digitizing collections, and creating access points for collections. Minimum Requirements Required:
Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited university in history (particularly a strong working knowledge of African American history and culture), education, arts management, historic preservation and planning, library/archival administration, political science, anthropology, sociology, communications, or other related fields.Experience and/or interest in research, libraries, genealogy, or other areas related to archival work.Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently, as well as with the public and other team members. Preferred:
ALA-accredited masters degree in library and information science, or a related field.
