JOB DUTIES

• Arborist and tree care work scopes in and around the Edmonton area.
• Experience pruning trees for the City of Edmonton is an asset.
• ISA certified is an asset.
• Plan and construct landscaped environments including trees, shrubs, lawns and other landscape structures.
• Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems / disease.
• Use of chainsaws and other powered hand tools.
• Pruning and shaping trees.
• Chipping branches.
• Grinding tree stumps.
• Assisting with tree felling.
• Assisting with ropes and rigging.
• Aerial lift operation.
• Operating chainsaws and other tree felling equipment.
• Delimbing and bucking trees.
• Climbing trees.
• Survey and assess designated sites.
• Examining trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease.
