Job Summary
CBC Northwest Territories (NWT) is looking for the next host of our weekday radio program, Tusaavik, who can work in either Inuvialuktun or Inuinnaqtun. The successful candidate will deliver a daily morning newscast on air, finding, preparing and presenting items for the hour‑long show.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Inuvialuktun or Inuinnaqtun.
- Ability to multi‑task and attention to detail.
- Community connections and knowledge of community events.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- On‑air experience is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a daily story meeting.
- Read the morning news in Inuvialuktun or Inuinnaqtun.
