About WestJet Aviation Network and Schedule Planning
The Route Development/Network Planning, Schedule Planning, and Airport Affairs team is responsible for creating the capacity plan and flight schedule for WestJet and WestJet Encore to and from more than 150 destinations spanning 20 countries across Canada, the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. Analysts define the markets to be served, the routes to be flown, the frequency per week, the operating times, and the aircraft type optimal for each route. They work with key stakeholders across Airport Authorities to ensure that the schedule and network are commercially viable and can be accommodated.
