Analyst, Specialized Care Data Management

The Analyst compiles, verifies and analyzes health system data, contributes to the development of indicators and analytical reports and disseminates results to diverse internal and external audiences. This role combines data preparation and quality assurance with statistical and programming work, visualization and client-facing communication to inform health system improvement.

The Specialized Care Data Management team is responsible for maintaining and supporting CIHI’s national home care, long-term care, mental health and inpatient rehabilitation databases, and updating and releasing a series of reporting and analytical products. Reporting to the Program Lead, the analyst will be a key player within an interdisciplinary team supporting data processing, system maintenance, data quality, analytical client support, and dissemination of information.
