Summary This job opportunity is for an ALLIED TRADES WORKER, position description D1220000, within the CSMS-1 of the New Jersey National Guard. The primary purpose of this position is to assist higher graded workers in performing work in the skilled trades' occupations in support of maintenance functions. Responsibilities As an ALLIED TRADES WORKER, WG-5801-8, you will: Operate various welding equipment Modify, repair and make canvas parts Repairs mobile equipment metal body components such as fenders, panels, hooks, truck beds. Remove and replace wood type trailer decking Prepare surfaces by sanding and wire brushing Perform other Duties as Assigned Requirements Conditions of Employment Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement.
