Job Description
Reporting to the Director, Marketing Finance, the Senior Manager, Midstream Finance will be the key contact for the accounting analysis of complex transactions, derivative/hedge accounting, cross‑functional business partnering, and process efficiencies and improvements for the Midstream business unit. The role works closely with other departments to identify and assess accounting issues, provide direct support on commercial activities, support process efficiencies and improvements, and support the Corporate function in executing the Management Discussion and Analysis and the Annual Information Form.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesOversee the derivatives accounting function including financial settlements and MTM accounting assessmentsMaintain and operate the process of identifying accounting assessments required within business transactionsReview and present technical accounting memoranda on complex transactions to meet strategic reporting objectives and ensure appropriate...
