Are you ready to take your firefighting career to new heights? Join Canadian Base Operators (CBO) and play a critical role in supporting aviation safety for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF).
As an Aircraft Rescue Firefighter, you'll be on the front lines of aviation safety—protecting personnel and aircraft. Reporting to the Fire Chief, you'll support flight operations through emergency response, training, and prevention activities. This role includes day, evening, and weekend shifts. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Respond to aircraft emergencies, crashes, and fire incidents
• Handle hazardous material situations, leaks, and spills
• Deliver fire extinguisher and safety training to RCAF personnel
• Educate teams on evacuation procedures and emergency preparedness
• Inspect, maintain, and operate firefighting and rescue equipment
