Opportunity Description
Elevate your career as an Aircraft on Ground (AOG) Specialist at WestJet, working five days a week in a collaborative, high-pressure environment. Your logistical acumen will ensure prompt action on AOG and MEL requirements.
This position focuses on managing timely solutions for AOG situations. You will coordinate urgently with the Maintenance Control Center to communicate AOG status and execute logistics strategies with third parties. With at least three years of experience in customs or logistics, you'll be responsible for managing international shipments and ensuring compliance with regulations during all shipping activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Actively negotiate optimal material solutions to support AOG needs
• Collaborate with MCC to expedite AOG solutions
• Facilitate logistics for critical delivery timelines
• Monitor AOG orders and perform necessary updates
• Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods regulations
