Opportunity Description
The Aircraft Mechanic 1 troubleshoots, repairs, and replaces MH47 functional components including rigging, flight controls, components, plumbing and hydraulic units, using hand tools, power tools, and special tools/test sets.
**Responsibilities**
+ Works supporting the SOATB MH47 program.
+ Emphasis will be on flight line maintenance.
+ The Aircraft Mechanic I troubleshoots malfunctions on aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, axillary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems.
+ This worker will read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
**Qualifications**
+ Must be a US citizen with valid drivers license.
+ Must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
+ 6+ years' experience in Army aviation.
