Summary See below for important information regarding this job. Responsibilities Repairs and maintains a variety of large commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Dismantles, repairs, and reassembles testing units such as pumps, impellers, compressors, chillers, receivers, condensers, and evaporators. Calibrates and repairs large pneumatic control systems and repairs steam control systems. Troubleshoots complex problems and installs and make extensive repairs on large industrial and commercial and air conditioning systems. Tests system operation and detects component malfunctions. Designs layouts with complex special requirements for areas with sensitive equipment. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Applicants will be rated in accordance with the Office of Personnel Management Qualification Standard for Trades and Labor Occupations.
