The successful candidate for the Agronomist, Operations Manager must have the following:
Identify Packhouses in the Western Cape regionPurchase Apples, pears, Kiwi and negotiate pricesIdentify, contract with and supervise local farmers to source high quality fruitsEnsure the shipping of packed fruits to other overseas markets.Work with logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.Manage and optimise logistics operations to ensure seamless supply chain processes.Collaborate with suppliers, distributors, and internal teams to maintain product quality and delivery timelines.Monitor and analyse operational performance, identifying areas for improvement.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.Supervise and support team members to achieve departmental goals.Prepare and ...
