Opportunity Description
Join Aecon as a Quality Inspector, focused on Concrete Foundations for the DOW Path2Zero TR4 initiative in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. You'll perform essential inspections and maintain high-quality standards in construction.
In this role, reporting to the Quality Manager, your responsibility will be to inspect concrete infrastructure throughout all phases—pre-pour, placement, and post-pour. Your ability to interact with clients and adapt your inspection techniques to project specifications will drive quality assurance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute on-site inspections according to IFC drawings and CSA standards
• Conduct pre-pour inspections for rebar and formwork
• Ensure concrete is placed and finished to specifications
• Monitor concrete curing process under varying conditions
• Assist in managing quality documentation and reports
