Support gender equality initiatives in Tamale, Ghana as an Advocacy Advisor with Oxfam. This 12-month mandate involves working closely with local partners like NORSAAC to advance advocacy strategies.
Oxfam is seeking an Advocacy Advisor for a field mandate within the Equality in Action Volunteer Cooperation Program. The candidate will provide technical support on advocacy strategies for NORSAAC, as well as assist in communication about selected projects. Capacity development for project staff and youth networks will be key parts of this impactful role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical advocacy strategy support for NORSAAC NGO
• Assist in communication and information sharing about projects
• Develop capacity of staff and youth networks on advocacy
Requirements:
• Canadian citizen or permanent resident status
• University degree in relevant fields such as Development Studies
