Your Opportunity:

Working under the general supervision and guidance of the FMC Senior Flow Coordinators, this position performs complex clerical duties related to patient bed allocation, admission, and direct admission and transferring of patients. The successful candidate is responsible for accurately placing admissions according to diagnosis and isolation requirements. The position serves as a point of initial contact for physicians seeking admission of patients to hospital through any of the Main, Emergency Admitting areas. Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff. Other duties include: attending daily huddle, communicating with units, unit clerks, unit managers, admitting staff and physicians, and providing guidance and work leadership to student placements.
