About the Job

An Adjudicator in the Tribunal and Dispute Resolution Division of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario will decide matters under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA), Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA), Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004 (PHIPA), and Part X of the Child, Youth and Family Services Act, 2017 (CYFSA).

Responsibilities

• Decide on appeals and applications related to government-held information, personal information, health records, and privacy protection.
• Apply legislation (FIPPA, MFIPPA, PHIPA, CYFSA) and interpret complex regulatory provisions.
• Conduct timely and impartial adjudication in a high‑scrutiny, media‑ and public‑visible environment.
