Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the RESOURCE MANAGEMENT OFFICE AT SHEPPARD AFB, TX. OCCASIONAL OVERTIME AND WEEKEND/HOLIDAY WORK, 1-3 TIMES ANNUALLY, COULD BE REQUIRED. THIS POSITION IS DEVELOPMENTAL AND WILL INCLUDE PROGRESSEVELY RESPONSIBLE ACCOUNTING DUTIES, EVENTUALLY LEADING TO NON-COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT TO ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN, NF-0525-03 UPON REACHING FULL PERFORMANCE LEVEL. Responsibilities Performs double-entry accrual accounting work in order to maintain a combination of journals and ledgers. Examines, verifies, and analyzes a variety of documents to determine their mathematical correctness, validity, and clerical accuracy.
