Accountant - Malaysia

The Accountant will support the end-to-end finance and accounting functions for a portfolio of companies within the group. This role manages daily bookkeeping, monthly closing, accounts receivable collections, accounts payable, financial reporting, and compliance coordination. The candidate will also be responsible for following up on overdue invoices and ensuring accurate, timely financial information to support management decisions.

1. Key Responsibilities
   A. General Accounting & Bookkeeping

2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple entities.

3. Prepare and record journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
4. Perform bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and petty cash tracking.
5. Manage depreciation schedules, prepaid expenses, and amortisation entries.
6. Ensure all transactions comply with internal controls and accounting standards.
