Description We are looking for an Accountant to support key financial operations for a machinery manufacturing organization in Chicago, Illinois. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for an individual who can manage receivables, assist with broader accounting activities, and contribute to accurate financial records across the department. The role requires strong communication, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively both independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on schedule, ensuring billing information is complete and aligned with company records.
• Track open customer balances, follow up on outstanding payments, and help maintain healthy cash flow through consistent collection efforts.
