Accountant

The Incentives, Benefits & Reconciliation Accounting department at BCBST is seeking an entry-level Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with strong Excel skills and the ability to analyze large datasets to identify variances, trends, and opportunities for accuracy. Accounting or financial experience is a plus, along with exposure to AI-enabled tools. This role will support incentive calculations, account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance research.

**Job Responsibilities**
+ Maintaining financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards.
+ Creating reports on financial performance for internal and external use.
+ Performing balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
+ Creating and utilizing automated tools for the updating, analyzing and reporting of consolidated financial results.
