Academic Expert Marker - COMP 486

Athabasca University's Learning Services Tutorial Department is seeking an Academic Expert Marker for the following course:

COMP 486  - Mobile and Internet Game Development: Link to Syllabus

Qualifications and Experience Required:  A minimum of a Master's degree required (PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related area.

The successful candidate will have subject matter expertise and be responsible for providing academic assistance to students, for marking assignments, and for assigning and recording final grades.  Teaching experience at a post-secondary level is required.  Experience in distance learning and familiarity with digital teaching technologies and online course delivery is preferred.  Experience with adult education and Brightspace online course delivery is considered an asset.
