StudySpot is looking for Academic Coach/Mentors to provide academic support to middle school and high school students in Toronto and the surrounding Greater Toronto Area.
Academic Coaching is an effective form of academic support that targets how students learn as opposed to what they learn. For over 20 years, StudySpot has provided academic coaching support to bright, capable, post-secondary bound students who underachieve due to a lack of organization and/or academic skills.
Responsibilities
The primary function of the Academic Coach is to work one-on-one with adolescent students to teach, practice, and apply effective executive and academic skills. The areas of focus are:
