Position Summary:

This position provides comprehensive academic advising aimed at fostering student success, retention, and a sense of belonging at the university and within their academic major/department/college. Key responsibilities include guiding students in academic planning, overcoming challenges, and utilizing campus resources; supporting orientation sessions and academic transitions; managing academic records and communications; and assisting with initiatives to improve student success metrics. The advisor will actively address the unique strengths and needs of a diverse student populations, including those from underrepresented and first-generation backgrounds.
