Role summary
An experienced AB Initio Developer will design, develop, test and support scalable, high‑performance data integration solutions using AB Initio product suite (GDE, Co> Operating System, EME, Data Profiler etc.). The role requires deep technical expertise in parallel processing and ETL architecture, solid SQL and data modelling skills, and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and data engineers to deliver reliable data pipelines and integration patterns for analytics, reporting and downstream systems.
Core responsibilities
Design and develop AB Initio graphs and reusable components to extract, transform and load data from a variety of sources (RDBMS, mainframes, flat files, APIs, messaging systems).
Optimise AB Initio graphs for parallelism, resource utilisation, memory and I/O performance; implement partitioning, sort/merge, blocking and buffering patterns.
