4th Class Operating Engineer

Our client, a well-established educational institution in North York, is seeking a 4th Class Stationary Engineer to join their facilities team on a 6-month contract. This position will provide coverage for the Chief Stationary Engineer.

Responsibilities:

•Operate, monitor, and maintain boilers, chillers, HVAC, and other mechanical building systems.

•Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

•Respond to building alarms, equipment issues, and emergency situations as required.

•Complete preventative maintenance and coordinate repairs when necessary.

•Monitor and record operating conditions, equipment readings, and maintenance activities.

•Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, operating procedures, and TSSA requirements.
