Opportunity Description
Elevate your career as a 3rd Class Power Engineer in Nanticoke, Ontario. Offer critical support in operating and maintaining industrial power systems in a permanent role.
This position reports to the Area Manager – Operations and requires a TSSA 3rd Class Operating Engineer Certificate, along with a minimum of 2 years in an industrial setting. You will manage various systems including steam and HVAC, perform chemical analyses, and ensure safe operations through lockouts and clearances for utilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain steam and environmental control systems
• Manage turbines, pumps, compressors, and HVAC equipment
• Conduct chemical analysis and adjust process water systems
• Issue Confined Space Entry Permits and gas testing
• Develop energy control and safe work procedures
Requirements:
