Position Overview

The Senior Manager, Corporate Real Estate & Land Strategy is responsible for leading and overseeing the City’s real estate, land acquisition, and land management functions in support of corporate strategic objectives and long-term municipal planning. The position maintains a 15‑20‑year strategic outlook on land needs and opportunities; develops a portfolio of properties to support future civic projects; and provides guidance for capital planning, infrastructure delivery, and partnerships such as BC Housing and BC Builds. The position strengthens corporate capacity in land management by establishing consistent frameworks, tools, and processes, and by ensuring coordinated approaches to property acquisition, disposition, leasing, conveyancing, rights‑of‑way, easements, and encroachments across all departments.
